Frank Lloyd Wright Collection Moves to MoMA

The entire Frank Lloyd Wright archive is moving to the Museum of Modern Art and the Columbia University architectural and fine arts library.

The collection includes 23,000 architectural drawings, 40 or so large-scale models, 44,000+ photographs and a whole lot of other papers (letters and such). The architectural models will be housed a MoMA and all of the papers at Columbia's library.

One of the reasons for the move is to make the archive more accessible to the public. It looks like I'll need to take a trip out to New York sometime in the future so I can be part of that public.
