Mid-Century Sesame Street

As someone who watches more Sesame Street than he should (otherwise know as the same amount as other fathers), I'm starting to remember all the crazy things that were on the Street when I was young. I don't specifically remember this Philip Glass segment, but the new mid-century enthusiast in me loves it (even if it did air in the '70s).

However, the greatest Sesame Street segment is and always will be, How Crayons Are Made.

  1. Those are 2 of my favorite segments! The song from the circles sequence got stuck in my head. Years later when I was taking geometry and learned how to draw the flower design for extra credit, the song came back to me. I can't draw that design without hearing the Phillip Glass soundtrack in my head. And the crayon factory clip is just magical. :)
