Shutter Bugs

I've been doing a lot of research on mid-century shutters and shutters in general. Basically there are four styles, with slight variations within each style.
I'm not really in love with any of them, so I thought I'd get a little creative and come up with something original, based on the Crestview door we're planning to install.
Luckily this is only in Photoshop and not real life, because it makes our house look like a bird. Back to the drawing board.

  2. Thanks Priscilla. It's a bit too much for us, but I think something a little more interesting than typical shutters is needed so we're trying to keep our minds open.

    1. When I first designed it, I loved it too. But then the more I looked at it the more I thought it went against the original design of the house. If we have shutters at all, they should subtle and not draw attention to themselves.
